MCdesk
Connect your MCdesk account with a personal access token and use the ITSM tools in chat
MCdesk
MCdesk is the ITSM system for service requests (REQ…), incidents (INC…), approvals and the service catalog. Your organization publishes the MCdesk MCP server to the workspaces you belong to; you authenticate with your own personal access token, so every action in chat runs as you.
Start here
- Get a personal access token — create the token in MCdesk (Profile → Personal Token), paste it under User Settings → Apps → MCdesk, test, and connect.
- Using MCdesk in chat — the prompts that work, what the assistant does before writing, the rules MCdesk enforces, and how to troubleshoot failed calls.
What you can do
- Look up your service requests, incidents and approvals.
- Search the service catalog and submit requests with the item's own variables.
- Comment on tickets and move incidents through their allowed states.
- Approve or reject approval tasks assigned to you (or delegated to you).
Writes are restated and confirmed before they run, because they are visible to other people in MCdesk.
